individualized shirts

In 1961, two shirt makers, John La Resca and George Zimmerman, launched a small shirt manufacturing business in Paterson, New Jersey. Their vision was simple: provide America’s best specialty men’s stores with a custom shirt program they could not otherwise initiate on their own. By crafting a program retailers could feel confident in, remaining true to quality in the finished product, and providing unwavering customer support, Individualized Shirts grew to realize the vision of La Resca and Zimmerman. For over 55 years Individualized Shirts has been America’s custom shirt maker. They have proudly served the finest stores in the country while becoming internationally recognized for the craftsmanship and passion that goes into their product. Individualized Shirts feature fabrics from the best mills in the world including Albini, Alumo, Tessitura Monti, just to name a few. The I.S. shirt is made to last. With a minimum of 18 stitches per inch in the collar and shoulder, single needle tailoring, an unbreakable button, rigorously tested linen liners, and standard – though not mandatory – fusing on collars and cuffs, I.S. shirts will withstand years of commercial laundering. The Individualized Shirts fabric collection is comprised of over 400 styles, with over 100 different collars and dozens of cuff and pocket details to choose from. 13 measurements are taken to ensure your custom shirt’s pattern will be correct. The process, takes roughly 5 minutes, providing you with the confidence your shirt being ordered will be perfect.
